i was just putting new rear wheel bearings on & the old ones are shot & rusted from the water. the inside cage is stuck on the back i have hammered chipped away & can not get it past halfway!! bastarrdooooo!!!! any idea's!!!! it's being a crap. |

Go buy a 2 leg or 3 leg bearing puller, $30 or so at Supercrap or other purveyors of cheap tools from PRC. (cheap, but it will do the job!). ![]() |

3 hrs of tapping in & out & around is no fun haha. i'm going to buy one tomorrow. do they come in sizes if so what size would i need? thanks for your help. |

There is generally 1 size there, available in either 3 leg or 2. I have both but like the 2 leg for most jobs, as I don't have 3 hands... ![]() |

Put the whole hub in the oven (when the missues is out) at 300 degrees and it'll drop out. Used to do this with Norton Commando gearbox main bearings. Needless to say the Ministry of Profits Distribution and War was most approving when she caught me one day. ![]() |
