What does it do? Is it worthwhile or a bit of a gag?

I haven't actually looked at the KAD releif valve in all fairness, but having said that, the standard ones can stick, it is not as common as some might say. If your worried, use a ball bearing instead of the standard bucket, just be sure to shorten the spring the right amount. So I cannot see how the KAD one would be any better....just a thought....someone else might shed a bit more light

KAD do make some really good and useful stuff, but most of it IMO is way overpriced - and I'm no tightwad either.

KAD + ball bearing mod = non stick variable pressure

Great for a race type motor, overkill on a road motor.
PM me if you want one, I have one I've never fitted.

Does anyone have a photo of one, i'd like to see the if there is a difference between the KAD one and one that a mate brought for his 1275 which he didn't have much success with , he ended up stuffing 2 good gauges because of over pressure he just couldn't seem to get it set where it needed it to be so he went to the moified version with the ball bearing and hasn't had a drama since.

Only just reading it now - I've never heard of it before, but some of the guys on turbomini have found that this IS the cause of their bearing failures.
