The body number was only stamped in to the radiator cowling and there was another body type number stamped in to the firewall near the master cylinders. The body number also appears on the compliance plate.
If your inner gaurds have been cut out, then you have no body number.

On pre Jan 1970 yes, but on a 1974 clubbie, sorry to say no. The Body Number for Identfying the Bady on a 1974 Clubbie was only on the radiator cowling.

If you think I am being picky the Clubman has a totally different body code system to a Leyland Mini. If you lump them all under the one name it will cause confusion when someone really does want info for a Clubman.
