I think that that's Kellys. They're on Beams Rd just near the railway crossing. I was there about 6 weeks ago. The Minis were still there but I think that they're too far gone to be saved.

My memory's a bit fuzzy, but I think that there were three, an early car, still with a floor starter and engine in place but very, very rusty (it's been there less than a year) but would yield useful parts, another roundy (pink/purple Mini K?) with big impact damage (it's been there at least 5 years - there's a distributor in the boot - I put it there) and a van, about which I can remember very little (I think it was too far gone to even warrant inspection).

Having said that, Kelly's is still the best wreckers in Brisbane for BMC/Rootes parts. They're not like most of the others who are barely interested in anything before 1985. They're the only wreckers in BNE with a Morris Minor!

Eagle Wreckers at Yatala is also worth a look, but they haven't had any Minis for at least a few years. Good source of SU carbs in the shed. I don't think the staff even know that they're there.

That would be kellys your talking about. Near gympie road and across the road from the driving range.
Its sort of ironic, i was telling my gf today as we drove past id have to have a look around in there and see if they have minis.

Was to wet to go check out the mini's today but by the sounds of it it's not really worth it.

If anyone still really wants me to check them out i will if not i wont bother.

Cheers Dan
