Post subject: | Dip stick question |
Is there a difference in lengths of dip sticks between the ones that sit straight in the block and those used with the plastic tube? - If so what is it? |

None sit straight in the block. They either use the plastic or steel tube. Length differences I'm not too sure |

Length differences I'm not too sure ???? 803, 850, 950 & 997 A series engines, the dip stick goes straight into the block with a small felt seal on the end of the dip stick A+ Engines also have the dip stick going straight into the block, they have a rubber seal. |

Length differences I'm not too sure Yes, all the pre A+ blocks do use / need a tube, however the A+ do not use any tubes, the dip stick goes staight in to the block. The Dip Sicks for the A+ are also little different at the seal (shape of it). |
