i can check it it's dark out side now..

but the clutch seems softer then it was before. i have to double pump to get into first & reverse then when driving it seems fine..

Everything is new & re-coned including gearbox.

do you think maybe needs re bleeding? it feels like there is little travel in the clutch like really soft then firm 3/4 way down.

understand?

Could be a number of things Nick, has it been gradual or was it a sudden change?

Sounds like it might be in need of a bleed.
How mechanically able are you?

yes easy.

that's what i thought nav.

I did it maybe 2 months ago the same time i did the brakes & it was all perfect!

only sorta happened the end of last week.

any reason why it would do that?

can air seep in? i made sure all the nips were locked off after i was done.

:)

Air could seep in through the master cylinder when you pump it.

I'd check the clutch arm at the ball end where it goes into the wok and see if it is broken down there

The balls are bent or broken too easily these days. I'd check that 1st eliminate that as its a no cost sneak a peak

Nick the ball Nav is referring to is on the end of the clutch arm, just inside the end of the clutch housing.

Mate been there. Think it might be a clutch master cylinder. Mine was doing exactly the same, new master cylinder now no problems whatsoever.
Good luck mini74.
