I have seen a few around over the years. There is one getting around Canberra lately.

For those that don't know here is one plucked from the web...

I went there about 20 years ago and it was impresive then , now it looks brilliant . Good to see someone is getting all the odd mini's that businesses used for advertising too , just need him to get more sheds and display them out of the weather .

The shortened minis were part of a stunt group that used to do the country ag show circuit.

They performed acrobatics by jamming on the brakes and rolling them end over end.

Havn't heard of tthem for well over ten years now.

I think those ones are still up near Lismore Mike (though they look similar without the cages) , they were owned by a family of speedway racers there and had round roll cages covering them . They also had a mini van called Matilda which had two engines and would split apart and drive seperately . Last I heard they were sitting in a shed as one of the son's was going to revive them but hasn't yet .

All three, the stretch leyland, shorty and the one with twin steering were on display at Charlies Auto Museum. They were all out the front and looked like they had been there for a while.

I've been there a few times. I looooove that Tatra. An identical one sold at the 2009 Grand Prix Shannons Auctions for $8000. (Before the auction I floated the idea with Sarah and she said "Urgh, it looks like a cockroach and is LHD! No way!")

I assumed the auction Tatra was the one from the museum, but can't be if it's still there. So there is (or was) at least two in Victoria.
