Is it easy to replace the bracket holding this to he underside of the car? I jacked up my car lastnight and had a look, and sure enough, one arm of the bracket is broken clean in half. Ive got one from an old strip down, so I just wanted to know, without a lift, is it easy enough to replace this using just my car stands? It looks possible, but before I attempt it, thought id ask. Cheers, Ben. |

common problem. before you take it off and weld it backup again, check all your engine mounts, steadys, and bushes to the remote housing. Too much play in the engine bay will cause strain on the remote bracket. |

Yep, you should have no problems with it on stands. Make sure you have new rubber "bobbins" as the old ones are probably stuffed too. |

yep easy, just drop the front down first by removing the four bolts that hold it on. |
