Am trying to rebuild the rear brakes, have put on the springs, shoes, but when i go to put the drum on , it won't fit.

I Suspect it might be the way I have put in the wedges at the brake adjuster area.

Could this be the problem ?

As it is in a basket case state i did not remove them initially so i don't know which way they are meant to go on. Have consulted the mini manuals but it is not mentioned.

Which way is the correct way in the pics ?
