Most likely a bulb, but could also be the printed circuit.
Not too hard to change but a bit fiddly. If you've a factory radio binickle fitted, you'll need to take that out, then remove the instrument cluster front (black) surround (it just pulls straight off, but be gentle), then you should be able to fold back the black vynal trim either side. There are 4 screws holding the instrument cluster in, 2 on each end (no. 2 phillips). Be cafeful once it is loose, you'll need to get you hand behind to disconnect the speedo cable (not sure what model clubbie you have, up to 76, screw on, after that push and clip on), that'll give you enough slack to then disconnect the white wire(s) to the tacho and then the multi-pin plug. The bulb holders press in, so just give it a gentle but firm wiggle to get it out. They are a little bit of an odd bulb, so you might have to go to a couple of places to find one. Test yours first. If you replace it, test it once you have the multi-pin plug back in.
