Started to restore four Contessa mags. Had all four rims polished and proceeded to sand blast the spokes. All went well with three rims,noticed on the fourth that two of the steel inserts for the wheel studs were different. The face was flat not dished like the others.There is some marking around these inserts.Had a look at the inside rim and discovered that a repair has been done.I dont think that a tubeless tyre would seal properly.
Can anyone recommend someone to look at the mag and advise ?

Take it to a repudable mag wheel restorer. There is a good one in Qld that I have had some dealings with. I'll dig out his name & number.
