Don't blow your dough just for the sake of it. For a cheap & fun boost to liven things up, how about a nitrous kit ![]() Then if you start upping the H.P. jets too much, you can do the motor/box rebuild ![]() |

You could drive it more..... ![]() ![]() ![]() But seriously, why not buy a second motor and build it up as a side porject. Go absolutely crazy with it. That way you have two choices and can always swap back to your current motor. |

I thought about that, but it seems like an expensive way to do it? I would have to source another 1275/box up here which would be impossible... And I spent a fair bit of cash on getting GR to do the cyl head up years ago.. If I did rebuild it, I would go stupid on it, but then it just seems like a waste of cash cause it never gets driven.. Thats what put me off re-building it a few yrs ago... I dont enjoy driving it anymore.... I need a new project.. |

You seem to have made up your mind. Will your new project get driven? |

Id get nothing for it. So I might as well keep it. It costs me bugger all to have it on Club Rego/insurance. Im just bored I spose... Done all my projects round the house... Maybe I should put a pool in instead???? |

Done the Moke thing-it is fun to drive ![]() I agree about the driving-get it out of the bubble! Get in contact with a few other Mini mates and plan some longer o/night stay trips. Here's a few idea's: Get it transported down to Sydney and join up with the Mini drive weekend to Hay 2010. ![]() * Get it down to Melbourne and join us for the three week Mini drive around Tasmania. ![]() You will soon get your enthusiasm back for your love of driving and enjoying your Mini ![]() |

do a drag car... or some sort. Aussie muscle cars are over rated... buy a yank tank and a big crate motor. Bolt it together and drag it. keep the mini in the shed... They are kinda timeless |
