Anyone know how i can repair this lead, it has come of in the dizzy? can you solder it back on? |

Generally these ends are crimped on. If it has done this then it can be repaired but it is also usually a sign that the lead has had it's day and needs replacing anyway. A full set of new leads is only about $20 to $25 for OK standard ones. |

Might he be also talking about the low tension one? The description is a little vague as to which one is broken and how... Pictures always help. |

I take it that it is not a lucas 23 or 25D4 or anything electronic. In the range of 29D4 or 45D4, with a flying type lead. Yes it can be soldered, however, it can easily be replaced. I guess that the reason it broke in the first place is because the plastic insulation has gone quite hard and become brittle. |
