I am looking for a good 1971 Cooper S in original or restored to factory standard condition to photograph for The Mini Experience.

I have photographed a couple over the past few years, but require a different one, and one with all the essential parts for 1971 spec.

You can PM me, email me ([email protected]) or phone me (03 5250 4842) if you either have a suitable car, or can put me onto someone who does.

I would prefer the car to be in Melbourne, or at least Victoria, but any location will be considered.

Cheers,
Watto.

That would be sitnlo62

You should have planned a bit better Watto, this car was almost (if not directly) in front of you at the Muster :D

Cheers
Steve

This one's in reasonably original condition. Will it be OK?

P.S. Can anyone recognise the brand and model of driving light? If so please let me know.

Yes, I suppose so.

However, I did get onto three others cars from the show and photographed them during the following week.

I wasn't thinking about the 1971 Cooper S at the time, but now I am.

Ideally I would like one with original wheels as well - but that is easy enough to rectify.

I have shot a couple of the past few years, but none completely original or original spec.

Any others out there? In Victoria?

Yes, the smart comments are very funny, and not at all surprising, but I seriously do need to find a good car, locally if possible.

If none is found locally, then I'm sure I can do something with Sitnlo62, as long as I can get suitable pics of it.

Cheers,
Watto.

Just bumped this to let everyone know I'm still looking.

I know there were only 112 or so of them made, but surely there is one good one in Victoria.

It will be a lot easier than flying to Brisbane.

cheers,
Watto.

Something not quite right about this one.

In the title it says 1971, in the ad it says 1970 and the body number is too early for a "flapper". With the compliance plate missing, well :?:

Yes, I concur.

There are too many questions on this one for me to consider using it in an historical feature on the model.

Thanks for the thought though.

Cheers,
Watto

OK, that's great.

Any ideas on whom?

Cheers,
Watto.

I didn't 'study' it, but yes something is rotten in china as they say. Might make good spares for a Clubman GT.....but probably not at that price.....
