need some new wheel nuts, not sure which ones to get?

If they're a tapered nut wheel then most wheel nuts have the same angle taper on them so you can use what you want.

Can you take a photo of the wheel with a nut taken off? Last set of hotwires aI had had different nuts, there was a counterbore in the wheel for a steel collar to fit into and the nut had a shank on it.
Your wheel looks like it nearly needs that.

I could be wrong here, but they don't look like the correct nuts at all.

Most mags use a reduced parallel shank wheel nut to prevent the holes from 'working' or wearing to a bigger size. Nut like these;-

Those particular one that you have picked out I have on one of my minis. It may have been that particular batch, but the chroming flaked off pretty quick. Also I didn't like the multi-size hex arrangement. I don't think these will fit in to the recessed hole that your mags have.

Most decent tyre shops can get in a huge variaty of wheel nuts and they should also be able to advise of the correct nuts.

Mini Spares UK also have a huge variety of wheel nuts.

Oh and for the record, I have nothing at all against Minisport SA, I deal with them quite a bit.

The wheel looks like it was designed originally for the nuts I mentioned (GT had a pic), but somones modified them to take tapered nuts. :?

If you can take your car or at least a wheel, could save a lot of muching about. Just so you can let them know, while they maybe able to size the nut for the rim, they sometimes have trouble with the stud thread. It is 3/8" UNF.

Just seen this thread, the nuts should be shouldered long neck type nuts. Kinda like a cross between mamba and jellybean ones like in these links, but not quite the same! Diff taper and shoulder etc..... and washers

i have a whole set spare and can get them made!

The picture of the wheel he posted has an insert which is for a plain tapered wheel nut, just like the wheel nut he has pictured. Not one of the shoulder type nuts it would normally have.

Don't muck around with this, ring John Smidt at Mini King in Narellan, he has them and can supply you with the correct spacer washers that fit these rims as well.
