I am trying to find the best match for the red interior of a 68 Cooper S. Most of the trim in my car is original but parts of the seats have been recovered in a slightly darker vinyl with a mottled burgundy through it. I found this same vinyl in a swatch at the upholsters (Daleys 47S) but all the suppliers seem to be out of stock. I just need enough to do the dash cards. Has anyone found anything else that's close or can anyone suggest where I might try? Cheers |

couldnt you get it sprayd with vinyl spray as long as the texture is correct colour doesnt matter. I think it is called UTICOLOR. Its a permanent colour change that merges with the vinyl http://www.uticolor.com.au/ Someone here had there car seats sprayed in grey a while back hopefully they will see this post and comment. It only becomes a problem when you have a two-tone vinyl, like the clubman vinyls. |
