Post subject:  Proportioning valves??

ok im at the stage where ive got 3m of new steel brake pipe rolled up in my room, well i went down to the wreckers and chopped some brake pipes off a few cars down there, and bent them to shape, only from MS to booster, and back to dual circuit proportioning valve.. and today i bent and cut the new stuff.. :)

now im a bit confused, i have the standard later? type prop valve on the rear subframe, now with the dual circuit prop valve in the engine bay, do i need to remove the rear valve and put a T peice in there?? and will i have to change the rear wheel cylinders?

i cant see running 2 prop valves is normal :?

thanks :D

Forget the proportioning valve in the engine bay, stick with the std prop valve on the rear subframe. Do your brake pipes to suit.

Barney is running a dual system from a Clubbie, just has a brass tee on rear subby where the rear limiting valve usually is.
