A very long shot......
Back in the last century, and many decades ago, my first car (white Cooper S 70) was bought from a guy who lived on or near Yanko rd. West Pymble NSW.
He was selling it as he had just bought a red MG.......
When it died, the young mechanic at the Esso servo at Newport Beach (Sydney) bought it and put the motor (after repair) and disks into his van - might have been red at that stage - don't think it was a roundie though. This was late 70s. The owner of the servo was "Barney" so I think his surname was Barnes.
Now, if anyone knows any small detail that could help, that would be cool.
Just having a nostalgia attack and a quiet day!
Thanks all!
