ok,,, please forgive me for this may be a bit of an "excited" statement, But,,,

we just got back from running my Hillclimb special down at my dads race track this arvo,,, & i`m a bit more than sooper dooper choofed, Totally & absolutely Over the moon would be a much more acurate description of how i feel right now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This this is not only soooooo Blisteringly quick,,, But handles like an absolute dream,,, i seriously can`t believe how well it handles,,, i`m flabbergasted!!!!

I can place this thing anywhere i like on the track that i like , at full noise, without an issue of instability, or nervousness... i`m actually quite shocked because i really did think that it would be a bit more taily & loose than what it is,,, it`s actually really grippy & VERY neutral, extreamly predictable & just sooper nice to drive.

sorry if this is the wrong place for this but i`m just soooo over whelmed with satisfaction & excitement

I gave my dad a run in it, Stewy & Archie both had little fangs too :-) & funny enough my dad didn`t bag the crap out of me, or it :-) Now that`s saying something !!! :-),,, actually i`m sure he realises how damn good it is :-) :-) :-)

Next trip down there i am definately setting up the helmet cam for it

:-)

soooo,,, hence the topic title---> You guys have absolutely no idea how fast this thing is & how good this thing handles,

Edit--> It really will need a good Aero package,,, i know that for sure now :-)

Why? :? If what you say in the first three paragraphs is true why does it need an aero kit? To make it heavier?

oh it will be at most of the club level sprint meetings in Sth east Qld & northern NSW in a short while,,, yes hillclimbs Mt Cotton, Grafton , Noosa, Mt Cootha etc, street & circuit sprints, AASA circuit meets at Lakeside etc

But, next run out will be another shake-down at dads , & yes this time with hlemet cam footage for sure!!! the run this arvo was a "spare of the moment, lets just do it now" type of thing, didn`t even ring dad to let him know we were comming till we were a block away from his place :-)

I think he was pretty stunned at how quick it is :-)

Dale (my sheet metal fella) is comming over on wednesday to sort the mudguards , required for both the Willowbank autocross & Lakseide track attack day,,, so i`ll see how far we get with them then & that will decide when & where we race it

But i`ll certainly do another run down at dads race track to get you all the Helmet cam footage.

You Seriously won`t believe this thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!, I`m telling you right now,,,!!!!!!!!!! No one has any idea of how stupid fast this thing really is,,,, i\t`s totally mind blowing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& yes obviosuly i`m totally stoked !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

every 5 year old kid should have one of these things & learn to drive in one :-)

Morry,,, Mate,,, we were only in 1st, 2nd & 3rd gear at dads track,,, now i must let you in on a little secret,,, if you can imagine,,,, i have done more laps at more speed on that track in many many fast cars over the years than most people have had breakfasts :-) (ok slight exageration) but in 2nd gear full noise & 3rd gear at approx half throttle , at approx 80-90mph & at the same time being able to place this thing absolutely anywhere i like , with ease & confidence,,, straight out of the box is just wicked for a start,,, But it`s geared to well over 150mph in top gear,,,, so ,,, for the big bitument race tracks it most Definately WILL need an decent aero downforce package !!!

No one has to trust what i`m saying,,, no one has to believe what i`m saying,,, there is just no words to describe this thing acurately... you just have to drive it to know what i`m feeling right now

I`m definately not saying that ive driven the fastest cars in the world,,, by any means,,, i`m just a mini driver who has done a sh!t-load of club racing & whatever,,, i`ve driven some farrrken fast cars in my time tho & i`ve ridden some faarrken-fast bikes,,, & this thing is just a "Blend" of the best of both worlds in my books

It feels like i`ve actually stumbled across a damn good wheelbase-to-track combo, added to the wonderful power-to-weight ratio,,, added to a damn good shocl-spring package etc etc etc &&&& that wonderful power "Delivery" of the R1 donk is just spectacular!!!!!!!!

If you can possibly imagine the grin i have on my face right now & i`m sure it`s going to last for the next few milleniums :-)

The helmet cam video footage may just be enough to show you "some-what" i`m talking about,,, everyone knows that video footage just doesn`t do things justice right???... well just wait till you see it :-) you seriously won`t believe it !!!! Not kidding!!!!!!!!!

If you can imagine how happy i was driving (Fanging) a turbo charged RS3100 V6 capri around on 25lbs boost for a couple of years,,,, & the 520hp turbo porsche i drove around the streets of Warrington in England & many other such absolute weapon race cars,,, well they`ve all got nothing compared to this thing... true!!!

I`ve NEVER EVER had sooo much of a rush driving any other car in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You sound pretty disappointed

Maybe to help video, get someone else driving the same track im a mini and have their passenger film how fast you approach and pass, might work.

A good camera angle i have seen is from behind the driver just above the helmet, looked cool on a billy cart 8)
