Kent Town Crash Repairs are very good.
Just down the street from Morris Mania on teh same side as him.

They did a good job on rear valance and flare metals on mine.

The best place is.... anywhere that puts a lifetime guarantee on their workmanship. Its always a good bet when they back themselves.

whatever you do choose carefully, some jobs are shocking, id go with someone who has recomended you and you can see the results yourself, and some of the cars in the workshop if you can..you can get great paint jobs and terrible ones, i hope more people provide you with some options on this one, all the reccomendations the better, wish i could help but im in syd!

The only other advice I can give is: stay away from MOBILE paint repair people. The touch up jobs are only good if ya want to sell the car and never see it again.... cos give it a year or so and it will look worse than before.

No worries SC.

I'm getting the whole thing resprayed, so it will be going into a shop.

I don't need a concourse job, just paint on the car that doesn't look crap and holds out the rust.

Well, in that case, go into their workshop and have a sticky beak over some cars.... have a good look at their prep work, make sure they aren't too generous with the body filler. Remember that prep work is 99% of a good finish.

A good body shop will aim to get the panels straight, then use fibreglass resin to take out the small imperfections..... rather than fill it with bog.

Oh, and choose one with a CLEAN and ORGANISED workshop. The messier the place is, the sloppier they will be with your car (thats the theory anyway  )

There is a workshop behind Cabra College (Clarence Park?? Drive south down Goodwood road, turn right 1 street after Cross Road, drive to the end of that street - its on the southern side) they always have old Datto's, Rotaries and things going in and out. They all look pretty damn sweet too. My brother has been thru there and was very impressed...... Might be worth a look.
