was bashing away with a big steel iron bar thing, to get my drum and stud thing back into the bearing thing, and well my thumb somehow got in the firing line, and got between the two metal surfaces. Rekon the whole neighbour heard me yell blue murder for a few minutes. Called the mini a few ugly words to try and make me feel a little better :lol: Gosh did it hurt like hell for a while!! Thumb is completly squashed!! :(

Hope yer feeling a bit better dude, been to the docs yet?, is it broken or just mushed.
Im getting phantom pains in my left thumb just reading this post...Owwww

been to the doc. Its definetly broken!! :'( funny enough it was my left thumb. Betta watch out, it mite get u. lol. I tell yah really hurt wen i smashed it. :'(

My dads mate lost his finger taking a wheel off a land rover.

And i usually get the gashes up your arms that make you shiver. But all is fixed by masking tape (blood isnt as good as grease to pack bearings)

My father-in-law is a retired brake mechanic. Looking at his fingers, even after all these years, still puts you off your cornflakes.
