I remember having a lot of trouble finding one for my van. I think I ended up using a 590mm belt from AC Delco. Obtained through a generic parts supplier.

I will double check for you tonight.

I mean is it the late flat ribbed one, or the earlier 'normal' V belt (may or may not have teeth).

Most belts will eventually stretch over time, it's normal. It may not be much, but does happen.

yeh it is a v belt..

i need the one coming for the water pump of the compressor onto the fan belt type*

i dont need the one coming form the alternator to the compressor... :)

how to do you tension it more.. mines not tensioning.. i can't work it out,

i'm doing it wrong or the belt has stretched.

im sure the belt has stretched as it keeps slipping when i turn the aircon on & i have tensioned the bolt has far up as it will go..

any idea's?

maybe i bought the wrong type of belt
is there a specific type

it just occured to me.. i bought the new one measuring from the old belt thats was all ready stretched..

so i think the new belt has stretched even more, so what would be the best way to work it out with the new belt stretched?
