Trimming Vinyls come in backed and non-backed versions. To do something like the lower dash rail, use a non-backed type and lots of swear words...... ![]() If all your after is a bit to do that, get it from a trimmer. |

'm interested in this too Ms Plum is not quite as well painted inside as she should be is there a kit available from any of the mini specialists? I thought some of the Cooper's had it standard but I may have been dreaming |

John at Mini King should be able to help out and i'm not 100% sure but i seem to recall seeing a kit somewhere , failling that go to an upholsterer and see if they have got something to do the job, they might even have some off-cuts that could get you out of trouble. Colin. |

Been there done that! If you want the original that the Cooper S had. Its called Madrid. "Madrid"vinyl (Dash and rail) ~ Fine grain pattern "Mayfair" vinyl Mk2 pattern seats ~ Little bit courser Mini King will be the only place who has old new stock. John had run out of all the black stock, I purchased enough green and then got it professionally dyed black. Hope this helps. |
