I think I read on here that you don't fill the gap between the rear of the front guard & where it meets near the screen. Is that correct.

Correct as your filler/ paint will later crack with movement

Oh yeah,

Better let all those pro spray painters know.....seen so many minis with the same old cracks along the joins where they put filler of some sort!
