Post subject: | Hub nut |
it's been a while since i have done anything constructive to the mini, so on my day off i thought it would a good idea to get something done. just need a couple of things answered. when putting in the split pins through the hub nuts, do you torque it up and then back it off untill the holes line up, or keep tightening utill the holes line up? I also remember reading, a while back, that when you have completed your mini you should take it for a test drive and then re-torque everything, does that include, head, hub nuts, ball joints anything else? thanks, Leighton |

Hub Nuts (and any type of castle nut), torque it, then keep tightening to align the next hole for putting the split pin in. Yes, it is not a bad idea to re-torque most of the fasteners. |
