Are you meaning he fixed steel lines??

Be sure to replace the brake lines with steel, copper is illegal. I usually buy a 24 metre coil of tubing (however I think they have smaller 6 metre coils as well) from IBS, as well as the male fittings. Lately the only female fittings (for the rear subframe) that have been supplied locally are tiny brass things that are crap, so I keep the old ones that are good and have them re-plated and I have been able to get some good ones from the US and UK.

Tooling isn't too hard to come buy and make sure you get a decent tube bender, one that you can get the fittings up close to the actual bend.

IBS can also supply the 1/4" steel fuel line as well.

ABS brake specialists are a brake repair chain you can get steel tube through easily enough, although Wombat had trouble with them up in Qld. Other than that, any brake repair joint should be able to get the tube in.
Some classic car specialists are able to get in the silver zinc plated lines, although usually these days you will find it to be the green plated stuff which satisfies the euro pollution standards (cadmium falling out of favor as the next most prevalent heavy metal found in road run-off).

The double flare tools are easily available on ebay, make sure they will perform the double flares however as there is plenty of single flare kits out there as well and they're not that different to look at (double flair kits have a number of small dollies included).

The cheap kits on eBay will perform the job, although the clamping bar provided needs to be squeezed in a vice to grab the pipe with enough force...also it pays to use the next size down dolly when you perform the flare. Simple to understand instructions are on the back of the packet.

I did a complete set of new lines using this set from front to rear (including hydro lines) and did not have one leak from any of the joins.

ABS actually, sold in 4 meter lengths so I needed two (5/16ths ID) . Ring around however, I think you could get it cheaper. Trucks use it in their brake lines.

Blackwoods P/N 0136 5154, however I have to ask, why would you want 5/16" Fuel Line?

The standard 1/4" line is good for about 105 HP and the tank, standard fuel pumps, and SU fittings are all 1/4".

These cheaper tools can be quite OK, however one I had a few years ago, I found that the 2 sides of the clamp would slip in use and so the flares were not square and leaked. I put some dowels in between them to keep them aligned and ever flare ever after was no problem. I eventaully wore the tool out....
