Just wondering if there are any roundnose convertible mini owners out there? Thinking this may be my next project, and am looking for any or as much advice from anyone with some experience.

Thanks, the COW!

Mooman... Steve has RIBENA which is a roundy.
He's putting in more structural bars so it don't flex as much as it has in the past.
He's also putting an auto donk in it i *think* but don't quote me; i don't know whats happening down there these days.

Do you know if he has any schematics, or anyone who would have any? Wanting to do it properly, so that it will get passed on inspection! :D

Yeah, Ive seen it, and dont mind the look of them! I think they look alot better with massive flares ect..., similar to brickworx racing Ribena. Im just trying to find out how to do it properly! Arent looking to buy as I get alot more satisfaction from restoring it myself, as most of you guys do too obviously :)

I am a ROOFLESS mini owner, but it aint no convertable - rag tops suck. The preferred word is ROADSTER

^^This is my baby.... I just wish they would START working on the bloody thing.

Yes, Mr Moo..... I know what is involved. I have a few pics of the LAMM convertable sructural bracing somewhere here.... and have read a genuine Rover convertable design folder...

A structural conversion manual can be bought from the UK...... http://www.rallysportreplicas.co.uk/minikits/roadster/roadster.htm .... its a little bit different though....
