Hey Guys,

Does anyone know if any of these ever reached our shores? From memory the article I originally read about these some years ago indicated that they were to be exported to Aus with the hope that production would continue here.

If any did get here do any still exist?

Looks good Smokie, wonder how it looks with the hood up? that's always a test of a good convertible!

Flashback

I have a friend Tony who has a Crawford Wolseley Hornet it has been taken away from original over the years before he got it but it is a Crayford job.

Crawford used modified (in width) morris minor hood bows.

I have just bought a November 1960 Morris mini traveller with the tank in the right hand side not underneath the load bay. I saw you have a traveller and wondered are there any pictures posted of it.

Smokie, that purple soft-top was built by a mate of mine in brissie...
(Goes by the nickname, Dodge)

he's a welder and did a top-notch job on that one....
it USED to have a supercharged (SC-14) 1310, but looks like thats gone now....

personally, I'm not a fan of soft-top minis, thats why they built the Moke wasnt it ?

I wish Mikey had never seen the black one as he is on the hunt for a Wolseley Hornet and morris minor hood bows.

Mikey has a thing with Black cars inparticular ones that will cost us lots of money.

Makka I will gladley come over and cook a roast for you and Tracey, nice to dirty someone elses kitchen.

Yes I'm as bad as Mikey and if asked to buy a Wolseley i'd say yes. I've never said no to any car he's wanted.

Nice were both into the same things and always glad to have another child (Oops) mini in the family.

hmmmmm i like it, but i think i like the sedan better with a roof, it looks so cool, i see a bunch of 60's young (late 20's) jumping out with the picnic rug and drinking lemonade when i see that!
