Hi everyone. I am removing the engine from my car over the comming week or so and was wondering if anyone has an engine crane i could borrow.

Happy to re-emburse the owner of the equipment with cash or beer or whatever

I am in the Ipswich area west of brisbane. It would be just for a day or afternoon or evening whatever suited you.

If i am unable to find one i will just wait and buy one.

Disconect every thing and lift the car over ther subfarme and engine!!!
Just make sure you prop up the subframe first!!!

Here's a question.. how heavy is the car without the subby and engine? Could one person lift it off? Two?

I lifted my mates Lancia Fulvia off the front subframe last year, surely a Mini can't be heavier than that?

I have lifted a car of the subframe and moved a car without subby and engine and it took 2 of us to do that, 1 couldn't unless of course you were related to Arnie
