Hi,
For some reason my ignition switch cuts power to the coil when at the ST position (ie the final position when cranking). Powered up the brown wire and checked the outputs on each position and it gets power to the thin and thick white wires (wires to coil and fuse box respectively) when at the IGN position, but then go further to the ST position and the thick white and thin white with red stripe (fuse box and starter solenoid respectively) get power but the thin white to the coil gets nothing. So is the ignition switch buggered? I joined the coil wire to the thick white fuse box wire and it started first go no dramas.
Cheers,
Dave

mine was doing the exact same thing last week. I changed the switch and its all good. They aren't expensive and its amazing how much play was in the original compared to the new one.
