Maybe bit strange question for some but I am new. So there it goes;
Is Metro front sub-frame much different than Mini rover?
How can fit one and what sort of mods would require?

I can't answer your question, but why not just use a mini one?

Yes, they are very different. The way and location of the mouting points but more importantly, they are quire a bit wider. In short they really won't fit in to a Mini no matter how good you are with a grinder and welder....but why would you want to????? the mini one is considerably stiffer and so will make the handling more predictable.....the hydrogas does work reasonably well in the metro but only because it does have more travel than a mini.

I was thinking to put k series engine. Apparently they fit in to metro sub-frame very easy.
That was my plan. I mean I am still playing with couple of ideas. At the moment still searching for a place in Melbourne who can build sub-frame (engineered) for Honda or Toyota engine.

As difficult as it is, do a search in ausmini and you'll see that in every case that I have looked at they modify the standard mini subframe when doing power plant swaps.
