does anyone know if i will need an engineers report if i'm putting a bonnet bulge into the mini?

my design complies with current ADR's but will i require a cert for vehicle inspections etc?

no, you don't need an engineers certificate, just do it.... besides, if it's for your 850 in youur signature, it's pre-ADR, so doesn't matter anyway

NSW and ACT have regs on size/height. You would have to check with VicRoads.

I know people have been done on modern cars after they cut through the "ribs" of their bonnets to fit scoops. I think so long as it doesn't affect the strength of the bonnet it should be ok.
It probably can't hurt to ring your local engineer just to check with someone who should know for sure.

Grab the modification guide from the link below, there are rules about how big it can be restricting visibility and all that, it doesn't need a certificate but you risk a defect if its not within the generous guidelines in the modification guide.
