I thinkthe rear of most front cuts are the squished bits after accidents that's why they are offered as fronts only. But given that, the opposite should also be true for front end accidents. Any whoo - that's got me thinking - standard car converted into trailer = chop at the B pillar. I do like the chop at the A pillar idea. Doors into the front of the trailer, more space. Lots of positives. |

I'd like to have a mini trailer, with matching wheels, flares and paint of course. I might build it myself, asses how good it is, then decide if I want to totally restore a car. Just thinking out loud, don't mind me. |

Good idea Harley, plus you're not stuck without a car if it takes you too long. Custom trailers/caravans are becoming the in thing at some of the big shows. I've already made an aluminium chequer plate trailer to go with my Moke, but I've never seen a Mini trailer that's not been made from a van or ute. You can buy standard axles & hubs off the shelf with Mini stud patterns... ![]() |
