Was driving my sister to a 21st, and on the way a carload of people i went to high school with pulled up beside me.
Upon turning off into a side street they threw an egg into my car, through the passenger window (Narrowly missing my sisters face) and then hitting my door card.
Luckily (unluckily) i know them by name and got their number plate.

Due to working on my door the other day, the door pocket card was not in, so the metal took the brunt of the egg.

I took my door card out, washed it off with cold water and soap, did the same to the door pocket.

Is there anything else i should do to prevent the egg ruining the paint (Granted it is in the door pocket, but bare metal VS water = Loss)

Idiots

As for the egg, i would try to wipe it up as best with a damp sponge or rag.

The wifes Tiida got egged last weekend at 11am in the morning. A car following the ute pulled up and came and told us the description of the two in the ute, year and model of the ute, the fact they were red P platers and, most important - full rego details.

Police are now doing what they do. If you see something then make it known and get justice from these POS.

My car got egged years ago. At first I laughed it off like a harmless thing bored teens do but when I washed the car I noticed a circular pattern of deep paint scratches. The shell had shattered and the sharp edges of each piece had scratched the paint in an onion ring pattern. It was a 70mm diameter area that just wouldn't polish out. Pricks!

It is not a harmless fun thing and I'll injure anyone I catch doing it.
