Give Lindsay Seibler at Minis Plus a call. Word is that he bought the entire ACL bearing stock when they went into administration last year. If anyone has some, he will.

good luck

Assuming your crank was not an A+ one... I couldn't find any for my Turbo crank... Which will be scrap if I can't find any!

Use A series ones, they oil your crank's big ends better (like, for 360° not 180). Just need to file another tag groove in each cap. Cheaper, too.

[edited] for clarity

It was Mahle or Fedral Mungral, I cannot recall which, but it was one of the big yankie companies. They 'packed up' the entire manufacturing plant and took it to the states. It's still there, in boxes.

So, how come my new batch of FRESH MADE ACLs are still marked Made in Rocherlea, Tasmania.
And the sticker says Made in Australia...

I think perhaps you have been misinformed...

Website just says administrators appointed- http://www.acl.com.au/
afaik they are still trading.

Are you sure you don't just mean the piston plant??
Various sources tell me ACL are still manufacturing and selling- bearings, anyway.
