ok what exactly is it and do i need it? i was going to go with a webber but i heard that they didnt support vacuum advance like the su carbs??? is there a need for it or can i get around it another way when changing to a webber ![]() CHEERS |

it`s a fuel economy item,,, with it (& if it`s working correctly) you will use less fuel |

I don't know anybody who has made it work on a sidedraft Weber or Dellorto. There is too much pressure shock in the port. I've not used it for 15 years (45 Dellorto) and my economy ain't bad without now it's jetted properly. Cooper S never had it fitted anyway, nor did a long list of performance cars. |

hardly any of the DCOE webers had the vac port anyways,,, only the very late pollution type things like the 53 & the 56 series had them i think ??? |
