Hi just a n00b question here. i am trying to replace the seatbelts in the front of my 76 leyland but cant understand how to get the seatbelt through the slot back into where the retractable piece is. any ideas? |

Quite easy. Undo the seatbelt down beside the seat, then undo the pivot point up on the door pillar and feed the the lot carefully down through the slot in the rear parcel box, To remove the retractable mechanism, first remove the lining from the rear pocket to give you access, Remove the plastic bung in the pocket and through there, use a socket on an extension bar to undo the retaing bolt on the retractable mechanism. Installation of a new belt is simply a reversal of what you have just done. |

yeah i have it all apart i just cant seem to fit it all through that slot in the top of the rear parcel box. i will go give it another try now. |
