what would i look for on the compliance plate of a traveler to know its a traveler :?: thanx guys in advance

If it's a Mark 1 the chassis number should start with MAW4 for a Morris Mini Traveller or AAW4 on an Austin Mini Countryman.

Post up some pics of the rear seat and spare wheel areas for confirmation. :)

An Austin Countryman will have the A/AW7 prefix for a Mk I and an A/AWB prefix for Mk II.

A Morris Traveller will have the M/AW4 for a Mk I and a M/AW6 for a Mk II.

As others have said it won't have a compliance plate. There are many easy to spot signs of a real traveller/countryman as opposed to a van conversion. This can include spare wheel recess, rear sliding windows etc. etc.
