A tip when you do them... Put the hinges on the car first, not on the door. Alot easyer to put on or take off the hinges with the door not attached! |

The top pair are wider at the top, the bottom pair are wider at the bottom, but less so. ![]() There are code letters on the back of each hinge, but I can't remember what they are.. ![]() |

Take the door off the hinges first, yes- but when putting back on, the top hinge on the door is a bit of a bugger to get the rear bolt & tapered washer in. Easier to bolt the hinges to the door first, then put the lot to the car and slip the front nuts on. BTW repinning door hinges was pretty easy, but I had to turn up new bronze bushes 9mm OD, as the ones in the kit (5/16" OD) were smaller than the hole worn in the hinges... ![]() |

I've got the bloody chrome hinges (previous owner) and they are getting a bit soggy, but I cant punch the pins out - (theyre covered in chrome). Anyone dealt with chrome hinges before? |

Bring 'em up (off the car), and I'll do them for you. Don't try to punch them out on the car... ![]() BTW.. the pins are fitted from the top and the top end of pin is knurled, so they have to be knocked out from the bottom. ![]() |
