Today a package arrived in the mail for my son five years old and in kindergarten ( or prep for those in the sourthen states) it was his new bank book for his school banking

when we gave him his book and told him what it was about he replied

Well dad im going to use it to save for my first Mini and i want it to be one just like yours only mine will be a blue one. :D :D

well I was stunned not to mention proud :o :D

anyway both my wife and i thought it was priceless

he stole a camshaft from me (that I was throwing out), put it in the back of that freebie push car I got him, and said it was his zorst pipe, and smelly smokes comes out of there.....

I tried to subtly get rid of it the other day, and he had a big tantie.....so it's still there.....got a bit of surface rust on it now....

I Have a 2 year old little brother, and whenever anyone is walking in a carpark or down the street or anywhere, and on the rare occurance that we see a mini he gets all excited and runs about the place yelling, mini, mini, mini!! Like benny's car.
He likes the mini very much, i will have to teach him to drive in 14 years  It will be fun

Well one of my daughters first words was "Mini" !!

The other day I picked her up from daycare, and walked out with her on my shoulders. When she saw the beast she proudly proclaimed (at the tender age of two mind you)

"My Mini!!!"

Typical bloody female!!

well i came home from work one day to find the bonnet of the mini up and a bit of "tinkering" going on. I snuck around to find my 5yo (at the time) twin boys deftly removing the spark plugs from Henry. They had 1 and 2 out and were attempting 3. I have a breaker bar but also have a samson bar nearby - hence why the kids got the plugs out.

Now initially I was ropeable, however I stopped short of boning them in and was very choofed they were working on the mini. They are now six and can remove the sump plug(long bar and both of them standing on it...lmao)

Kids - they are truly interesting animals...
