Hey, ive just had a quick look with the search button but cant find anything. I have 12inch minilites with sime tyres. What tyre pressure do people run in front and rear tyres? The reason i ask is i took my car down today t check tyre pressures and they were around 20psi which i thought was really low so i put it up to 32psi. But my girlfriend who use to work at a petol station was always told to put less psi in smaller tyres than in bigger tyres. So thought id just ask Thankyou Blake |

Not sure if any difference with 12"... I've always used 10".... Common values 32 front 30 rear or 30 front 28 rear. 20 is too low. |

I say adjust your tyre pressure to suit your preference, anywhere between 30-40psi. I like to run mine on the high side because I like the precise feel, reduced rolling resistance and wear. It means less grip in the wet though, but I find with my (crappy) power and A008 grip, it all works out for me. Have to really try hard to break traction. Edit: I check tyre pressures when warm so I don't overpressurize them |

my antivirus always goes nuts when i try to open that thread about tyre pressures etc. at the moment i'm running about 36psi front and rear (sitting in the garage! lol) when it gets back on the road it'll drop to the 32/30 |

Yep its a matter of getting the tyre pressure to match you driving style & Tyres & wheel width. But for a Mini I like a 2 psi difference front to back 5" Dunlops D1s with A008s front are at 32 and 30 rears. If I was running Falkens I think I would be going a little softer on the pressure and see how they handled specially in the wet |

Edit: I check tyre pressures when warm so I don't overpressurize them near on 40 psi in mini tyres with big side walls is too much... 32 is plenty.. i find with tyres pumped up i get understeer, poorer wear, reduced footprint, and shitey braking. but maybe thats just me |
