If you have bought Hi Lo's from Minisport in the UK: they come with a black plastic cap on the end of the cone. Do I take this off or fit the hi lo with it? It fits with or without it in! ![]() |

pic? can't see the rubber cone mounting face of the hilo in the picture of them on the website ![]() you're not talking about this bit are you? if so, then yes, the cup stays on there - it's called a knuckle ![]() |

1/2 fill the cones with some good grease too stops corrosion over time |

It's not the knuckle I'm talking about - it's the other end that you can't see in the picture. Consensus seems to be leave them in as they help prevent water getting into the cone thereby preventing corrosion. Plus, grease absolutely everything! Thanks... ![]() |
