Last night around 8:30 I got a call from one of my mates who told me a guy came into the church and tried to fight some guy. He got thrown out and came back to drive a dark blue round nose mini through the glass doors. I looked it up on the net but I can not find any pictures or news footage. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2010 ... ction=news ABC news is the only one I've found so far that even references it was a mini. Quote: A service was in progress with around 300 people inside the Christian Outreach Centre on Keil Mountain Road at Woombye, when a car drove through the glass doors of the church just after 8:00pm (AEST).
The man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and wilful damage and is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court later this month. Pastor Dr Chas Gullo says no-one was hurt when the car crashed into the packed church service. "A mini-vehicle drove through the side doors of the auditorium and smashed a bit of furniture and of course the two front doors," he said. "The service was almost coming to an end ... the congregation was quite surprised that no-one was hurt." |

I found some pics from another friend that was their. Looks to be a Rover mini with 12" wheels, I've never seen it around here on the Sunny coast  and it looks so good as well  .

Oh crap! That looks like my mate's mini. I'll have to get hold of him to see if he had an argument with the church... I think it's an '88 Rover if it is, looks a bit better the further away you are. |
