Isn't it amazing what you can fit in a Mini!

Image

1x complete 998, 4x 12" Rover minilites, 4x Rover steels with winter tyres. And the boot would've still had eough space for another gearbox and some smaler spares :)

Last week I had two 998 short blocks, a remote gearbox and a big crate of carbs in it.

Who needs a big one?

Cheers,
Jan

PS: It was all secured of course, before I took the picture! :)

good effort - I like how you moved the steering wheel to the other side of the car so the diff housing fitted in better

I've carried oodles of stuff - the best one was the look on the guys face when I put a big screen TV inside my blue cooper, still in the box. He said big car owners all had to pull them out of the box and put the TV on the back seat :D

Hehe, i noticed the steering wheel thing, German ingenuity

As for big things in a mini, i have had 2 44gal drums in a van (empty) in my blue clubby i have had (seperatley) a tumble dryer in its box, and a 240L wheely bin, the guy at the depot was stunned and said now he has seen everything.

The seat belt looks like a good idea  that is, up to the point when your other half gets in the car with that nice new white top that she bought this morning!!

Best use ive ever seen for a sunroof.
I probably wouldve gone for the disassemble in position.

And did it make it any quicker being twin engined?

Hmmm - I think the 998 in the back was like a brake for the tuned 1275 in front. Acceleration was a bit ropy...

Me and my mate once pulled up at a Mountain bike race in my van with 2 mountain bikes, spares and a long weekend's worth of camping gear and beer! The look on everyone's faces when 2 guys over 6ft climbed out and started unloading gear was priceless!!
