On my facebook page I have just posted a set of photos that were sent to me showing some hoons who did a big rev and dumped the clutch. The damage is incredible. have a look and feels free to share. Mike |

i had a look mike, nasty stuff, although i have seen those set of pictures before, 8500 rpm clutch drop is huge, rev limiter on a 32 is set at 8200 who in their right mind would hold it on limiter then clutch it, tahts asking for trouble! this is my best effort twice ![]() ![]() ![]() |

ha,,, that`a nothing,,, i`ve shred 9x gearboxes/diffs/transaxles in 9 months in my Kombi ![]() Not to mention the clutches , CV jopints spits & axle breakages they`re quite spectacular smashings even going slow ![]() i like the turbo honda civic drag video i posted up here somewhere,,, split the box off the engine & smashed everything else around the entitre engine bay ![]() |

I remember a couple years back i was at the Auto Salon on the Gold Coast and i was watching a RX3 mazda on the dyno they had done 2 runs i can't remember the exact hp but it was around the 600hp mark, on the 3 run the gearbox let go and exploded the internals just literally dropped onto the floor, it was a absolute mess. Biggest gearbox let go i have ever seen. Wish i had a camera. |
