Post subject:  HELP..no park lights???

Hey guys can anyone help? I was trying to fix one o Parker lights and in the process shorted something I think.... I now have now park lights, when I go to switch Parkers on I get no park lights, no dash lights or rear park lights. Headlights work and break lights work when I push the pedal. My gauges won't light up when I go to switch them on??? Checked the 2 fuses and there both good..... What else could it be??? I have new h4 with angel eye thingies too

There is another fuse in a single fuse holder. I think it is near the normal fuse box. (but I could be mistaken as I haven't changed a fuse for a long while)

Park lights and head lights run off a different circuit. Does the blinkers work but what I'm guessing at as you have replaced one of the Parker/blinkers that the bold you have replaced with is not the correct type. I wish I had the correct info infront of me but but it does sound like they were working and a bulb let go and you have replaced it with the wrong one.
Parkers and dash are all on the same red wire of the loom and its all due to one bulb you have replaced

Yeah in the loom going to the fues box,,, just back up on the firewall near-beside the brake master cyl , you should see an "Il-Line" fues"

that`ll be where the problem lies

What he said ^^
Mine went a month or so ago. That exact problem. Caused becase my switch terminals were dirty, which blew the fuse on the fire wall.
