Hoped in the car, getting ready to go and the door slams shut somehow, and my finger was somehow in the firing line. The door completly shut on me, and left my finger in (lets just say ALOT of pain) neva opened the car door so quick again in my life, to find my nail had fallen off, and blood was begining to pour out from underneath where the nail used to be. Lets just say i think quite a few people in the neibourhood heard me say some kind words to bluey..... Im just glad nothing is broken. I certainly felt my finger bend to the shape of the door mould tho, wen it slamed :x

Well,

I can sympathise!

Many moons ago I was quite ill (maybe from the copious amounts of beer ) and I left the party to sleep it off in the old Cooper S. Problem was that I occasionally had to throw up outside the car. As I didn't want anyone to see me, I had my thumb on the door light switch every time I opened the door.

Next morning couldn't work out why my thumb was black and swollen.....

I had closed the door every time on my thumb and sat there with it stuck over the light switch with the door closed all night between each evacuation of the excess beer and carrots. Didn't feel a thing...till the next day!

Took 6 weeks for the new nail to come through!

You really have been having some average times lately. Matbe you should lock yourself in a room for a month or two.

Seriously though, it hurts like buggery doesnt it.

Ive told a few of my clumsy/gorrie stories on here before, but the one I always come back to is me putting my left fingers through a set of steel rollers, couldnt go back to work for months.
