I think those Centrelines depreciate the value a little too much and you better give them to me :D

Worth a try

RUST or No RUST?

When looking at Rover's or any mini really, rust is the big factor, followed by 1275, brakes then other add-ons. All parts can be sourced and fitted relatively quickly so it is really only rust that is hard to correct. Some people advertise cars as being perfect except for the little line of bubbles starting to appear down the seam/A-panel/roof/boot etc. Well, I'm sorry but to put that right is $$ Thousands so the car's value plummets. Of course rust can be bogged over but most people would prefer a car that isn't ready to come apart like it's got zippers for seams.

A truely rust-free body proved either by a recent re-build with decent photos or a very good original body is worth stacks.

Rover's rust like crazy (I know, I imported 1 and 3/4 and have seen many more) so if she's really rust free I reckon it's worth more than $10k. If it is rusty in the doors, a-panels, base of windscreen, boot, beaver panel, sills then you've got about $3-4k worth of parts, excluding those wheels which are an acquired taste.

After have a good look over it, the only rust I can actually see is..

Under the carpet on driversside footwell, probably need to put a new panel in.

Seams aren't splitting anywhere, and there are no bubbles on any of them.

Boot is solid, no rust to be seen.

Beaver panel appears fine, along with windscreen.

That being said, I am no expert on rust.

Solid little car, but I don't know, I would love a panelvan. I might chuck it up in the FS section as an EOI and see if anyone out there is interested.

I think if you fixed the floor and advertised and sold the car as not needing any work then you could probably look in the region of $8-11000 based on interior and paint condition.

I sold my 88 rover for $4000, but it needed a respray and only had an 1100.
