Hi guys, i just want to ask for those with engine knoledge (more than me) if it is ok to run the car with the choke on my delletro 40mm with the choke on only slightly? Reson for this being, is it runs better and doesent pop and fart, as i have adjusted a few things this afternoon that have caused it to do that. I just need to get back to the gold coast tonite from brissy and I'll fix it later this week. But yea can i run the car with the choke pulled on only slighty? It wont damage the motor or make it run hot? It just runs better like that at the moment. But yea i need to leave tonite, so hence the quick fix. If someone could let me know that would be awesome!! I don't know webers, but - As a general rule, if a car is running too lean it will run better with a bit of choke. This is better for the engine as a lean mix can burn your valves. |
