I've never seen one with a mini, but my wolseley 24/80 came with an original BMC ignition key. Did minis come with this key too?

The original Mini key was a Union key.

They looked like numbers 1 and 3 in this photo (found on Google)

I would guess that the Wolseley would have got a BMC branded key because they were an expensive luxury car and it would have looked bad to have a generic "Union" key.
I would be certain that both the BMC key and the Union key would have come from the same supplier (Wilmot Breeden)

The number 2 key in the photo looks the same as the keys fitted to Bedford trucks.
I don't know what got 4 and 5.

the door key has FS written on it but it doesnt match the ignition key. most likely the ignition has been changed because someone found one with an original key.

what's the difference between FS and FA?

The letters are the key profile and the numbers the cut. I have the original keys for my Minor, they have the same head as #4 but have grooves on both sides. I know Minors has FS & FP keys, but they might have had others as well.

There are good mobs around that will cut to code, if you know the code and they can get the blanks.
